Johou Battle version 1.0.9 is here! Thank you to everyone who played Johou Battle 1.0.8 and even 1.0 on Launch Day! This Day 2 patch is here to fix a potential softlock as well as some other minor bugs along the way!

If you downloaded a previous version of Johou Battle, please download Johou Battle version 1.0.9 for an improved gameplay experience. Replays made in Johou Battle 1.0 or 1.0.8 may not be compatible with Johou Battle 1.0.9.

Main Menu

• If you are mashing the Esc key, there is now a 100 frame cooldown to make sure you don't accidentally close the game that way.
  • Mashing will move you to the Exit Game button, but if you pressed Esc to get to that button you cannot close it that way for 100 frames regardless of how many times you press Esc.

Options

• Keyboard Binding 
  • A sound now plays when you bind a key
  • The error messages will now properly display in Spanish and Japanese.

Cutscene sprites 

• Unzan and Star Platinum's fists have been corrected 

Vs. Ichirin Kumoi

• Adjusted the timer on the 4th Spell Card (Easy Mode)

Thank you for your feedback that gives me the information needed to keep putting out these updates! I won't be updating the game every day, but if there is a major bug (softlock, crash) that creeps up, I will do my best to address it as soon as possible! Let's keep on fighting this Johou Battle!
